How much does a house extension cost in Medway?
Napwood does not publish a generic build rate. Costs depend on project-specific factors including size, ground conditions, structural requirements, glazing and finish. The extension-cost guide identifies fees that can be checked separately. Actual construction pricing requires a project-specific quotation.
Do I need planning permission for an extension?
Not always. Plenty of rear extensions fall under permitted development if depth, height and materials play by the rules. Corner plots, conservation areas, flats and bigger two-storey schemes usually need a full application. We flag the likely route early.
How long do extensions usually take?
Once drawings, approvals and materials are lined up, a typical single-storey extension is often around 8–14 weeks on site. Wet weather, steel lead times and kitchen manufacturing can stretch that. Lofts and full refurbs vary with scope.
Can you manage kitchen design and installation?
Yes. Stewart specialises in kitchen design and procurement. We can build the shell and work with your supplier, or run a full design-and-install package through our network.

Are you insured and do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. Napwood Construction Ltd holds public liability insurance; details are available on request. Eligible Napwood work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee, subject to written terms.
